Jensen Escobar - Founder

Like every other story, this one had a beginning. It all began in the deep and unforgiving jungles of Central America with a family torn by the atrocities of a civil war and extreme poverty fighting to survive. A man with a dream to reach for the stars and turn his and his family's life around soon became his sons. Jensen grew up in Oakland, California in the middle of a violent culture infecting the city. Against the odds he was able to go to college at San Jose State following the footsteps of a teacher that changed the course of his life. It was there, in that dorm, laying on his bed staring at the ceiling fan where the melting pot was stirred. Eventually, the burning desire of being more, of doing more and everything he failed to accomplish, stirred the pot until it tipped. Two months later he was on his way to boot camp. He decided to enlist in the Navy as a rescue swimmer. Many stepped up to the challenge and two years later, after many beatings, long swims and runs a few stood proud in front of their loved ones, earning the gold wings on their chest. Looking at how far he’s come, once again, he lays on his bed staring at the ceiling fan.
